Building Control Officers operate in functional geographic teams either in the Eastern or Western areas. Requests for visits will be accommodated on the same day if received by 10am. Officers are contactable by a system of mobile communications to allow easy access by customers and client feedback is always welcomed. The department is Quality Assured to ISO 9002. Free pre application advice is available. This authority participates fully in the Partner Authority Scheme.
