Rhondda Cynon Taf Building Control Section provides a friendly professional service.

The section welcomes approaches for pre-application advice.General information forms are available on the website.

All submitted structural calculations are checked inhouse.

Building Control Officers can be contacted on direct telephone lines,with same day site inspections received before 10 am.

Our officers have a wealth of local knowledge and experience of the area and will respond quickly to any enquiries.

We issue a Certificate of Completion after the work has been completed to our satisfaction.

We will readily accept pre-checked applications from companies partnered with LABC Partner Authorities.

Office hours are between 8.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Officers can be contacted on direct telephone lines with same day site inspections if required.

The Building Control Section also deals with Dangerous Buildings/Structures and operates an out-of-hours call out system to deal with emergencies.
